A rare piece of stunning turquoise from the Pilot Mountain Mine, set in hand-stamped (.925) sterling silver. This stone has a rich matrix of earthy browns, intertwined with deep, vibrant blues. This is a one of a kind, rare stone, set in a custom crafted sterling silver setting, and original designed ring band. This ring is truly a statement piece!
The Pilot Mountain Turquoise Mine is located in western Nevada. The Turquoise found there is extremely high quality. Pilot Mountain Turquoise is known world wide for it vast array of colors and quality. The Nevada mine is one of the gem mines made famous for its extremely rare ability to form dendrites (manganese plant fossil replacements) in the Turquoise. The Pilot Mountain mine also produces some very high grade spiderweb stones, with interesting web matrix patterns that include red, brown, and black colors. It is a hard stone and so it takes a good shine that retains color longer and is resistant to skin oils.
The ring is approximately size 9 – 9.25.
